General description

Polysucrose is water-soluble, nontoxic, resistant to intestinal enzymes, spherical and can be produced with a molecular weight distribution that relates to the size of many normal food proteins.

Application

Polysucrose has been used in a study to develop a new method for the purification of human motile spermatozoa. It has also been used in a study that investigated the antiproliferative and antitumor activities of D-reverse peptides.
Used for cell separation and organelle isolation.

Other Notes

A nonionic synthetic polymer of sucrose.
