The product is superparamagnetic, comprising particles with iron oxide core and silane coating. BioMag® Plus Particles are approx. 1 micron in diameter.

Application

Used for development and testing of particle size instruments.
Also used in microfluidic biosensors as a platform to immobilize bioactive materials for quantifying:
  • mycotoxins in fruits and feedstuffs
  • emerging contaminants in river water samples
  • fungal pathogens in fruits

In addition, it finds application in electrochemical determination of drug residues in animal tissues.

Features and Benefits

  • suitable for routine instrument calibration checks, testing and corrections
  • available in 10 mL pack size as a neat sample
