General description

Acute phase proteins (APPs) constitute an integral part of the innate immune response, exhibiting significant alterations in their serum/plasma concentrations in response to inflammation, infection, or trauma. This group of proteins includes haptoglobin (Hp) and Fibrinogen, which play pivotal roles in immune response, and are frequently studied as biomarkers of systemic inflammation and disease.

Specificity

There was no or negligible cross-reactivity between the antibodies for an analyte and any of the other analytes in this panel.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Bovine Acute Phase Protein Panel 1 is a 2-plex kit to be used for the simultaneous quantification of any or all of the following analytes in bovine serum, plasma and milk samples: Fibrinogen and Haptoglobin.
