NBT is typically soluble in water at 10 mg/mL. Stock solutions at 10mg/ml in water are stable for 1-2 weeks in the dark at 2-8°C. The material has not been tested for solubility in RPMI, rates may be similar to that of water. This compound is also soluble in 2-methoxyethanol at 20 mg/m and ethanol at 5 mg/mL.
