N-Methyl-D-glucamine, also known as Meglumine, is a sorbitol-derived amino sugar. It acts as a catalyst in one-pot synthesis of pyranopyrazole derivatives.

Application

N-Methyl-D-glucamine is utilized as:

  • A buffering agent to remove boron from an aqueous solution
