Specificity

Recognizes Vasopressin. Less than 1% cross-reactivity with oxytocin.

Immunogen

Arginine vasopressin (Sigma) conjugated to thyroglobulin.

Application

Anti-Vasopressin Antibody detects level of Vasopressin & has been published & validated for use in IC, IH(P), RIA & WB.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:5,000-1:10,000 (18-24 hour incubation) on formalin, Bouin′s or Zamboni′s fixed tissue. Will react on paraffin embedded tissue.

Immunocytochemistry: 1:1,000-1:200,000 (18-24 hour incubation) on fetal rat neurons.

Immunoblotting: 1:1,000

RIA: 1:30,000-1:750,000. Sensitivity of <1 pg/mL.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
