General description
Decylphosphonic acid(DPA) is a phosphono-alkane derivative that forms a self-assembled monolayer(SAM) that can be used as an interfacial modifier.
Application
DPA doped polyaniline(PANI) can be used as a protective coating against corrosion. It can also form a doublelayer thin film with the dye solution which may be assembled on a counter electrode for the fabrication of dye sensitized solar cells(DSSCs).
