CytoVu cell imaging slides provide a permeable barrier between apical and basal cell culture compartments. CytoVu 8 Micro membranes are just 0.1 um thick with regularly spaced 8.0 micron pores that allow cells to extend through the membrane. They are ideal for applications in cellular co-culture, intercellular junctions, polarized cell growth, and migration assays.

• 4 cell culture membranes per slide - each in its own well
• Compatible with upright and inverted microscopes
• Ridges to allow stacking in incubator
• Ultrathin membrane - transparent and highly permeable
• Lid with coverslips for live imaging and minimal evaporation

Maximum volumes for the apical and basal wells:

• for the 300 μm basal well depth - apical well is 10 μL and basal well is 10 μL
• for the 1000 μm basal well depth - apical well is 10 μL and basal well is 25 μL
• seed cells at about 800cells/μL, initially and then allow them to grow to confluence.
