General description

Nicotinamide (or niacinamide) is an amide form of vitamin B3/nicotinic acid that can be used in a variety of cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications. It is found in meat, fish, nuts, and mushrooms, as well as in some vegetables. It is also a precursor for essential coenzymes.

Application

Nicotinamide-(amide-15N) can be utilized in the biosynthesis of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD). This product can also be used as an analytical standard.
