General description

The interaction of 1-decanol with nanosilicas and silica gels were analyzed using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermoporometry.

Application

1-Decanol was used as an extraction solvent in the determination of several toxic phenolic compounds present in cigarette smoke by single-drop microextraction in combination with liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry.

Cigarette smoke contains several toxic phenolic compounds, measurements of which are essential from a public health standpoint. This article describes a simple and selective analytical method for quantitative determination of six toxic phenolic compounds (phenol, catechol, resorcinol, hydroquinone, o-cresol, and

A common strategy for multi-protein expression is to link genes by self-cleaving 2A peptide sequences. Yet, little is known how the 2A peptide-derived N-terminal proline or adjacent non-native residues introduced during cDNA cloning affects protein stoichiometry. The mechanisms that regulate cell-cycle arrest of cardiomyocytes during heart development are largely unknown. We have previously identified Tudor staphylococcal nuclease (Tudor-SN) as a cell-cycle regulator and have shown that its expression level was closely related to cell-proliferation capacity. Herein
