General description
Alkaline Phosphatase Stabilizing Buffer can extend the shelf life of alkaline phosphate conjugates.
Application
Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) Stabilizing Buffer may be used in ALP assay in osteoblast cell protein lysates. It may also be used as a component of antibody-enzyme conjugate dialysis buffer.
Alkaline Phosphatase Stabilizing Buffer has been tested in ELISA systems. The product has been specially made for the stable dilution of alkaline phosphatase-antibody conjugates. It can be used for a series of experiments to achieve consistent results.
Components
Stabilizing compounds in Tris buffered saline, pH 8.0, containing 1% bovine serum albumin and 15 mM sodium azide.
Preparation Note
The degree of stability realized is highly dependent upon the conjugate tested. Trials using each particular conjugate should be performed to determine the degree of stability that can be expected. It is recommended that this buffer constitute ≥95% of the final solution.
