The GenElute™ Vacuum Regulator is used to measure the pressure of the vacuum used on the GenElute Vacuum Manifold to support the isolation of genomic DNA, RNA and PCR products which can be used for a variety of molecular biology applications. The GenElute Vacuum Regulator is used to establish a reliable vacuum source for the GenElute Vacuum Manifold. A vacuum of 200-400 mbar (pressure difference) is recommended for use with Sigma′s high throughput purification kits.
Application

This protocol is designed to allow for high throughput purification of pure genomic DNA from a variety of cultured cells and tissues using the GenElute 96 Well Tissue Genomic DNA Purification Kit.
