Biochem/physiol Actions

AKT2あるいはプロテインキナーゼBγ(PKBγ)は、AKTファミリーに属するセリン/スレオニンキナーゼです。AKT2は他のAKT分子と同様にホルモン、成長因子、細胞外マトリクス成分など様々な刺激に応答して細胞内で活性化され、糖代謝、転写、生存、細胞増殖、血管形成、細胞運動性に関与しています。AKT2の形質膜へのトランスロケーションには、PI3Kによって生じる脂質セカンドメッセンジャーのホスファチジルイノシトール-3、4、5-三リン酸(PIP3)が必須であり、これにより移行したAKT2はホスホイノシチド依存性キナーゼ-1(PDK-1)によって活性化されます。
