General description

eMcollect Sponge is a sterile sampling device designed for use in the food industry. It comprises a premium quality cellulose sponge measuring 8 x 4 cm and 1.2 to 1.6 cm thick. The sponge is pre-soaked in distilled water containing a 10 % neutralizing agent. It is used to check the environment during production when there is a low probability or absence of disinfectant. The sponge is packaged in a blue pre-cut sampling bag that is easy to open and features a large writing area for sample information, along with an adhesive closure label. Each unit is sterilized by gamma rays to ensure safety and traceability.
