General description

Terbutryn is a systemic herbicide used primarily for elimination of annual broadleaf weeds. It is a triazine compound and is known to inhibit photosynthesis. This selective herbicide is also used in controlling submerged and free-floating weeds, algae in reservoirs, and fish ponds.[1]

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
Terbutryn may be used as a reference standard for the determination of terbutryn in water samples by solid-phase extraction followed by high-performance liquid chromatography.[2]
