General description
Chelated Gallium (III) exhibits high affinity and selectivity for phosphopeptides. The capture matrix is a novel Ga3+ chelate silica based on a proprietary nitriloacetic acid (NTA) analog. The matrix is packed into spin columns for easy, microscale affinity capture of phosphopeptides. The enriched sample helps to overcome the limitations of mass spectrometry of phosphopeptides.
The pre-packed spin column contains 50 μl (25 mg) of phosphopeptide capture matrix; each column can purify up to 25 nmoles of phosphopeptides.

Application
The PHOS-Select Gallium Silica Spin Column is a convenient tool for phosphopeptide enrichment from crude samples following tryptic digestion, using immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC).
