Tyramide alkyne (Alkyne-phenol 1) is a cell penetrant and highly efficient clickable ascorbate peroxidase 2 (APEX2) substrate that significantly improves APEX-labeling efficiency in intact yeast cells. Tyramide alkyne enable biotin-independent detection of labeled proteins.
