Taflupost acid is the active metabolite of Tafluprost, a prostaglandin F2α agonist that lowers intraocular pressure and is used in the treatment of glaucoma. Taflupost acid has high affinity and selectivity for the prostaglandin PGF2α (FP) receptor with a Ki of 0.4 nM.
