General description
The kit’s lowest limit of detection is 0.3 SOD units/mL. This kit can be used to measure SOD activity in biological samples such as serum, plasma and erythrocytes, tissue homogenates and cell lysates.
Components This kit contains sufficient reagents for 500 colorimetric tests.
Our economical Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) activity assay kit also saves your time and efforts:
- Highly sensitive, simple and high-throughput assay for measuring SOD activity in a variety of biological samples (serum, plasma, erythrocytes, tissue homogenates and cell lysates)
- Allows measurement of SOD activity both in percentage of inhibition and also by measuring the activity in enzymatic units using a calibration curve curve.
- Enables inhibitor screen using our SOD enzymes which is provided as a standard.
- User friendly: No need to weigh or calculate needed amounts of reagents on your own
- Supportivecalculator (Click here to download a calculator excel file):will calculate the reagents needed according to your experimental needs, andanalyses your results based on your experimental data!
- Quick instruction bench card - to assure your experimental success
- More experiments in one kit - contains sufficient reagents for 500 colorimetric tests.
- Limit of detection: 0.3 SOD units/mL
- Detection time: only 30 min
- Detection can be done at room temperature.
