This European Pharmacopoeia reference standard is intended for use only as specifically prescribed in the European Pharmacopoeia. Their suitability for any other use is not guaranteed and is the sole responsibility of the user. This standard is not intended for human or animal use.
Established for use as per European Pharmacopoeia in the preparation of reference solutions (a) in the:
  • Identification by thin-layer chromatography (General text 2.2.27), test for related substances, and assay using liquid chromatography (General text 2.2.29) of glucose monohydrate and glucose, according to the monographs 0178 and 0177
  • Identification of anticoagulant acid-citrate-glucose solutions (ACD) and anticoagulant acid-phosphate-glucose solutions (CPD) by thin-layer chromatography (General text 2.2.27), according to the monograph 0209
