Butocarboxim is a carbamate pesticide commonly used as an insecticide and miticide. The mode of action of butocarboxim involves the inhibition of the enzyme activity of acetylcholinesterase (AChE).

Application

Butocarboxim may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in agricultural products, crude extracts of fruits and vegetables, and bovine milk by various chromatography techniques.
