General description

Acibenzolar-S-methyl is one of the functional analogs of salicylic acid that can bring about systemic acquired resistance in plants.

Application

Acibenzolar-S-methyl may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Food samples by low-pressure gas chromatography and liquid chromatography combined with tandem mass spectrometry (LPGC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS).
  • Tobacco samples by LC-MS/MS.
