Gene Information

human ... CAMK4(814)

General description

Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase type IV (CaMK IV), also known as CaM kinase-GR, and encoded by the gene name CAMK4 or CAMK or CAMK-GR or CAMKIV, is a multifunctional serine/threonine protein kinase with limited tissue distribution, that has been implicated in transcriptional regulation in lymphocytes, neurons and male germ cells. CAMK4 is localized in hippocampal neuron nuclei and is associated with chromatin and the nuclear matrix in spermatids. Expression in CAMK4 can be found in brain, thymus, CD4 T-cells, testis, and epithelial ovarian cancer tissue. CAMK4 can be phosphorylated by CaMKK1 and CaMKK2 on Thr200 and dephosphorylated by protein phosphatase 2A.

Immunogen

Purified recombinant fragment of human CAMK4 expressed in E. Coli

Application

Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:200-1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected CAMK4 in ovarian and rectum cancer tissues.

Immunofluorescence Analysis: A 1:200-1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected CAMK4 in HepG2 cells.

ELISA: A representative lot detected control Antigen (100 ng) and Antigen (10 ng, 50 ng, 100 ng) in ELISA (Direct).
