Specificity

Recognizes Human Flt-1 (fms-like tyrosine kinase). Flt-1 (human 1338 aa, rat 1336 aa, and mouse 1330aa), a putative receptor protein tyrosine kinase, is a receptor for VEGF and PLGF. Flt-1 has also been described as VEGFR1 and Flk-2. It is type 1 membrane protein and is expressed in normal lung, placenta, liver, kidney, heart, and brain but not in tumor cells (Shibuya et al., 1990; Matsushime et al., 1987; Yamane et al., 1994; Finnerty et al., 1993; Choi et al., 1994; Plouet et al., 1989; Simon et al.,

1998; Sait et al., 1995; deVries et al., 1992).

SPECIES REACTIVITIES:

Antibody crossreacts with mouse Flt-1. No significant sequence homology is seen with human VEGF-R2/KDR or other related kinases. Antibody crossreactivity in other species is not established.

Immunogen

Human recombinant Flt-1 (extracellular domain). Actual epitope recognized by this clone is between 1-250 aa of human Flt-1.

Application

Western blot: 0.5-2.0 μg/mL. MW = 180 kDa.

Flow cytometry: Dilute the antibody to 25 μg/mL and use 10-20 μL antibody for 1-2 x 10E5 cells in a total volume of 200-250 μL. Visualize with appropriate secondary antibodies.

ELISA: 1:10,000 - 1:100,000, using 50-100ng of control peptide/well.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

The microRNA (miRNA) processing enzyme Dicer1 is required for zygotic and embryonic development, but the early embryonic lethality of Dicer1 null alleles in mice has limited our ability to address the role of Dicer1 in normal mouse growth and development.

Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
