The TNF-alpha-preparation which is used has a specific activity of 2 x 10(7) U/mg protein [cell lytic assay with L929 cells (mouse transformed fibroblasts) and/or WEHJ 164 cells (mouse fibrosarcoma cells)/actinomycin D].
