Gene Information

human ... WNT10A(80326)

General description

Wingless-type MMTV integration site family 10a (WNT10A) plays crucial role in normal development such as regulation of cell fate, patterning during embryogenesis and neoplastic transformation. Elevated levels of WNT10A have been detected in several human tumors and cancer cell lines including colorectal cancer and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. This evidence suggests that uncontrolled Wnt signaling may contribute to the abnormal apoptosis that characterizes these malignancies. Defects in WNT10A have been shown to be related and possibly are the cause of ectodermal dysplasia anhidrotic (EDA), also known ectodermal dysplasia hypohidrotic autosomal recessive (HED). Other recent evidence had suggested that mutation in WNT10A is associated with odonto-onycho-dermal dysplasia (OODD), an autosomal recessive ectodermal dysplasia and Schopf-Schulz-Passarge syndrome (SSPS).

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human WNT10A.

Application

Anti-WNT10A Antibody is a highly specific rabbit polyclonal antibody, that targets Wnt & has been tested in western blotting, IHC (Paraffin) & Immunofluorescence.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: 10 µg/mL from a representative lot detected WNT10A in human skeletal muscle tissue.

Immunofluorescence Analysis: 20 μg/mL from a representative lot detected WNT10A in human skeletal muscle cells.
