General description
Hydroxylamine NovaTag resin is an ideal tool for the synthesis of peptides labeled at the C-terminus with an hydroxylamine group. Such peptides readily undergo oxime formation in aqueous media with aldehyde-modified proteins or peptides, MAP core peptides, or surfaces. For the synthesis of MAPs, this approach avoids many of the problems associated with their purification and analysis, since the linear peptide antigen can be fully characterized prior to conjugation with the pre-formed lysine tree.
