Application

  • Assessment of EDDP Perchlorate Stability in Biological Samples: An investigation focused on the stability of methaDoneand its main metabolite, EDDP perchlorate, in oral fluids. The study highlighted the importance of understanding metabolite stability for accurate drug testing and monitoring in forensic and clinical settings (Fucci and De Giovanni, 2008).

  • EDDP Perchlorate in Drug Testing: EDDP perchlorate was examined in a forensic context using the SPME technique to simultaneously detect multiple drugs of abuse in saliva. This method underscores the utility of EDDP perchlorate as a reliable biomarker in toxicology studies and drug monitoring (Fucci, De Giovanni, and Chiarotti, 2003).

  • Pharmacological Action of MethaDoneand Metabolites: Research explored the interaction of methaDoneand its metabolites, including EDDP perchlorate, with rat alpha3beta4 nicotinic receptors. These findings contribute to the understanding of the pharmacodynamic properties of methadone′s metabolites, relevant in the development of therapeutic and diagnostic strategies (Xiao et al., 2001).
