General description

Antibiotic and carcinostatic agent. Inhibits DNA synthesis by cross-linking DNA at guanine and adenine residues, disrupting base pairing. Induces apoptosis in gastic cancer cells. Blocks the cell cycle at the G2 phase.
Antibiotic and carcinostatic agent. Inhibits DNA synthesis by cross-linking DNA at guanine and adenine residues; disrupts base pairing. Forms covalent adducts into deoxyguanine and guanine under acidic conditions. Induces apoptosis in gastric cancer cells. Blocks the cell cycle at the G2 phase.

Physical form

Provided as 2 mg antibiotic and 48 mg NaCl.

Reconstitution

Following reconstitution, store in the refrigerator (4°C) for short-term storage and in a freezer (-20°C) for longer term. Stock solutions are stable for up to 2 weeks at 4°C and up to 3 months at -20°C.
