General description

LiChrospher® RP-18 endcapped is a reliable and versatile traditionally produced spherical silica gel carrier with revered phase properties. It is well suited for the separation of neutral, acidic and weak basic compounds.

Application

  • Simultaneous quantification of delta-9-THC, THC-acid A, CBN and CBD in seized drugs using HPLC-DAD: The robustness of the LiChrospher® 60 RP-select B column is highlighted in forensic science, where it is used to accurately identify and quantify cannabinoids, demonstrating its critical role in legal and forensic analyses (Ambach et al., 2014).

  • RP-HPLC separation and characterization of unknown impurities of a novel HIV-protease inhibitor Darunavir by ESI-MS and 2D NMR spectroscopy: The LiChrospher® 60 RP-select B column′s exceptional selectivity and performance are utilized to identify novel impurities in Darunavir, highlighting its application in developing more effective HIV treatments (Nageswara Rao et al., 2013).

  • Quantification of pralidoxime (2-PAM) in urine by ion pair chromatography-diode array detection: Demonstrating versatility, this column was used to detect therapeutic agents in clinical settings, supporting treatment regimes for poisonings where rapid and accurate drug monitoring is essential (John et al., 2012).
