- Automated analysis of cortisol metabolites using Cortisol-¹³C₃: An innovative method utilizing online in-tube solid-phase microextraction coupled with liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was developed for the automated analysis of sulfated steroid metabolites in saliva samples, including those labeled with Cortisol-¹³C₃. This technique provides a robust tool for biochemical research focused on hormone analysis and metabolic studies (Kataoka and Nakayama, 2022).
- Validation of LC-MS/MS methods for cortisol analysis using Cortisol-¹³C₃: A comprehensive validation study for an LC-MS/MS method to determine both free and total forms of urinary cortisol and its metabolites was conducted, demonstrating the utility of stable isotope-labeled standards like Cortisol-¹³C₃.
