Application

18:1 CDP DG is suitable for liposomes preparation.

Biochem/physiol Actions

18:1 CDP DG or 1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-(cytidine diphosphate) produces cytidine 5′?monophosphate by the reaction catalyzed by phosphatidylserine synthase (Pss). CDP-diacylglycerol is derived from diacylglycerol. It serves as a precursor in the production of phosphatidylinositides. Unregulated CDP-diacylglycerol signaling may be associated with the depression.
