General description

Our sublimed sulfur electrode sheet is a ready-to-use cathode for lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery research. The sulfur film is cast single-sided on a 16-µm thick carbon-coated aluminum foil current collector that is 5 in. x 10 in. (127 mm x 254 mm) in size. The composition is 70% sublimed sulfur, 10% Poly(vinylidene fluoride) [PVDF] and 20% carbon black.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Click here for more information.

Application

Our sublimed sulfur electrode sheet is primarily used as a cathode in lithium-sulfur batteries due to its high theoretical capacity. This sulfur cathode can convert sulfur to lithium sulfide by a conversion reaction, resulting in a practical capacity of 800 mAh/g that is 5× than those of the transition-metal oxide cathodes. It offers consistent, reliable performance and is suitable for experimental studies in lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery chemistry.
