General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product belongs to Enabling category of greener alternatives thus aligns with "Design for energy efficency". Hole transport organic materials allow perfect energy level alignment with the absorber layer and therefore efficient charge collection, are prone to degradation in ambient conditions.Click here for more information.

Application

Highly emissive poly(9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2, 7-diyl) end capped with dimethylphenyl (PFO-DMP) is a conjugated polymer with white light emision, remarkable thermal stability and high photo- and electroluminescence efficiency. PFO-DMP was successfully demonstrated in textile digital printing for organic light emission devices (OLEDs) , as well as in high voltage composite separator in Lithium batteries at high rates and low temperatures.
PFO-DMPP can be used as an active material in the fabrication of LEDs. The modification with dimethylphenyl end-capping groups can enhance the charge injection and transport characteristics, leading to improved device efficiency and stability. It can be used in applications in OPV devices, particularly as a donor material. The end-capping with dimethylphenyl groups can modify the energy levels and molecular packing, impacting the optical and electrical properties. PFO-DMPP can be utilized as an active layer in organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) due to its improved charge transport characteristics. The end-capping groups help to enhance the carrier mobility and improve the performance of the transistors. This modification can influence the power conversion efficiency of the OPV cells.
