Used in the synthesis of semiconducting metal-containing polymers in which the polypyrrole backbone has a conformational energy minimum and is nearly planar.
Palladium chloride is a transition metal catalyst that can be used to synthesize palladium complexes applicable in heterogeneous catalysis.[1][2] The Pd NPs synthesized from PdCl2 using oxytocin as a reductant showed remarkable catalytic activity in Suzuki reaction under green conditions.[3]
