Application

Chromium(III) acetate hydroxide can be used for a variety of industrial applications which include dyeing, photographic emulsion, and tanning.[1] It can also be used as a catalyst in the synthesis of monoacylglycerols by the glycidol-fatty acid reaction.[2]
