- Gas permeable membrane permits pressure equalisation allowing glassware to be sterilised using an autoclave with the screwcap fastened
- Provides a tight seal that prevents the ingress of liquids or solids
- Ideal for aerobic microbiology and cell culture
- Suitable for storage and transport of gas generating media
