Neurotrophin 4 (NT4). By dot blot, less than 1% cross-reactivity against NGF, BDNF or NT3.
Immunogen
Recombinant human Neurotrophin 4 (NT4).
Application
Anti-Neurotrophin 4/5 Antibody is an antibody against Neurotrophin 4/5 for use in ELISA, WB, IH.
Immunohistochemistry: 1-2 μg/mL (see suggested protocol).
Immunoblotting: 1-2 μg/mL
ELISA: 1-2 μg/mL

Some mechanoreceptors in mammals depend totally or in part on the neurotrophins brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and neurotrophin-4 (NT-4), and their receptor TrkB, for development and maintenance. These actions are presumably exerced regulating the survival of discrete sensory neurons in
Oral administration of the food-derived antioxidant amino acid ergothioneine (ERGO) results in its efficient distribution in the brain and enhances cognitive function. However, effect of ERGO deficiency on cognitive impairment and the underlying mechanisms remain unknown. We revealed that cognitive
Frontiers in molecular neuroscience, 10, 147-147 (2017-06-03)
The neurotrophin brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) acts via tropomyosin-related kinase B receptor (TrkB) to regulate synapse maintenance and function in the neuromuscular system. The potentiation of acetylcholine (ACh) release by BDNF requires TrkB phosphorylation and Protein Kinase C (PKC) activation.
