General description
Application
- 3,6-O-[N-(2-Aminoethyl)-acetamide-yl]-chitosan exerts antibacterial activity by a membrane damage mechanism.: This study explores the antibacterial mechanisms of a chitosan derivative, which could be related to the buffering capabilities of HEPES in maintaining the stability and exposure of functional groups necessary for antibacterial activity (Yan et al., 2016).
