Articles

Small molecular weight organic semiconductors are promising for flexible transistor applications in next-gen soft electronics.

The diversity of applications and nanostructured materials accessible using ultrasonic spray methods are highlighted in this article.

While dye sensitization as the basis for color photography has been accepted for a very long time,1 attempts to use this principle for the conversion of solar light to electricity generally had resulted only in very low photocurrents, below 100 nA/cm

Ultrasonic spray pyrolysis produces scalable nanomaterials like metal oxides and quantum dots for diverse applications.

Questions

1–6 of 6 Questions
  1. Do you have any suggestion for dilution? I want to control the viscosity. I confirmed that the dispersion matrix is alpha-terpineol. Can I use that solvent to dilute it? If so, Could you recommend the specific method? (i.e. sonication)

    1 answer
    1. Alpha-terpineol can be used for dilution, as it is a component of this product. However, no specific method or protocol for dilution is available.

  2. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

    1 answer
    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. For more information, please refer to the Storage and Transport Conditions document: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/deepweb/assets/sigmaaldrich/marketing/global/documents/316/622/storage-transport-conditions-mk.pdf

      Helpful?

  3. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1 answer
    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.
For more information, please refer to the Product Dating Information document: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/deepweb/assets/sigmaaldrich/marketing/global/documents/449/386/product-dating-information-mk.pdf

  4. Does this paste contain any silicones or siloxanes?

    1 answer
    1. This product is ≥75% Silver. The remaining content is the α-Terpineol dispersion matrix. There are no silicone or siloxane components present.

      Helpful?

  5. what is the curing temperature of silver conducting paste ?

    1 answer
    1. As stated in the 'PROPERTIES' section of the product page, the curing temperature is 120-150 °C for 30-60 min.

      Helpful?

  6. What is the duration for bonding two structures together when using this product? Additionally, how long does it take to solidify? Also, I need information on the duration until it is no longer conductive.

    1 answer
    1. The duration for solidification and conductivity can vary based on factors such as substrate type and curing temperature. Additionally, we do not have any experience or test results regarding your technical inquiry
