Pigment cell & melanoma research, 27(3), 442-453 (2014-01-30)
Spontaneous melanoma phenotype switching is controlled by unknown environmental factors and may determine melanoma outcome and responsiveness to anticancer therapy. We show that Orai1 and STIM2 are highly expressed and control store-operated Ca(2+) entry in human melanoma. Lower extracellular Ca(2+)

Breast cancer research : BCR, 21(1), 99-99 (2019-08-30)
Stromal interaction molecule (STIM) 2 is a key calcium-sensing molecule that regulates the stabilization of calcium ions (Ca2+) and therefore regulates downstream Ca2+-associated signaling and cellular events. We hypothesized that STIM2 regulates epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) to promote breast cancer metastasis.
