Anti-IHPS1 antibody produced in rabbit, Anti-NOS antibody produced in rabbit, Anti-nNOS antibody produced in rabbit, Anti-nitric oxide synthase 1 (neuronal) antibody produced in rabbit
NOS1 (nitric oxide synthase 1) is one of the NOS (nitric oxide synthase) isoforms found in the heart. It is located on human chromosome 12q24.2-31. It is mainly localized in the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR).
Immunogen
Peptide sequence around aa. 850-854 (F-N-S-V-S), according to the protein NOS1.
Application
Anti-NOS1 (Ab-852) antibody has been used in immunocytochemistry .
Biochem/physiol Actions
NOS (nitric oxide synthase) produce nitric oxide in the heart. It regulates myocardial function and plays an important role in the remodeling of human (ICM) ischemic cardiomyopathy.

Target description
Produces nitric oxide (NO) which is a messenger molecule with diverse functions throughout the body. In the brain and peripheral nervous system, NO displays many properties of a neurotransmitter.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol
