General description

Digoxin is a cardiac glycoside that is used to treat chronic heart failure.Monoclonal Anti-Digoxin-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody can be used to detect digoxin-labeled compounds such as oligonucleotides, antibodies and peptides. The antibody is specific for digoxin and digoxin-labeled compounds. The product shows strong cross-reactivity with digoxigenin.

Specificity

Antibody is specific for digoxin and shows a high affinity for digoxigenin.

Immunogen

Digoxin-KLH.

Application

Monoclonal Anti-Digoxin-Alkaline Phosphatase antibody is suitable for use in direct ELISA (1:10000-1:6000) and dot blot (at 1:20,000 dilutions using digoxigenin-labeled biomolecules). It has also been used for enzyme immunoassay (EIA).
Nested PCR products were hybridized with 5′-end digoxigenin-labeled oligonucleotide probe. ELISA assays were performed to detect the probe by adding monoclonal anti-digoxin antibody alkaline phosphatase (DI-22) diluted 1:1000 in 1 M phosphate-buffered saline, 1% bovine serum albumin, and 0.1% Tween 20 (Ph 7.4). Detection was performed using Sigma Fass-Pnpp substrate tablets.

Physical form

Solution in 0.05 M Tris buffer, pH 8.0 containing 1% BSA, 50% glycerol, 1 mM MgCl2 and 15 mM sodium azide
