PFF-1 is a robust, cell penetrant and long time-laps (>30 min) fluorophore suitable for single-molecule localization microscopy experiments (SMLM). PFF-1 exhibits minimal phototoxicity and no apparent photobleaching. It was used to visualize movement of vesicles within cultured neurons.
