Recognizes Arabidopsis AtRAC3 expressed in E. coli.
Immunogen
synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 61-79 located in a region near the N-terminus of Arabidopsis AtRAC3, conjugated to KLH. This sequence is identical in AtRACs 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 11 and also in RAC/Rop of many plant species. It is highly conserved (single amino acid substitution) in AtRAC7 and AtRAC9.
Physical form
Solution in 0.01 M phosphjate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.
Storage and Stability
Store ammonium sulfate suspension at 2-8 °C for up to one month. For extended storage, freeze in working aliquots. Reconstituted and diluted antiserum should be stored in aliquots at −20 °C.

ROPs or RACs are plant Rho-related GTPases implicated in the regulation of a multitude of signaling pathways that function at the plasma membrane via posttranslational lipid modifications. The relationships between ROP activation status and membrane localization has not been established.
