Minor vault protein 193 is also known as poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase family member 4 (PARP4). Along with two other proteins, it is part of vaults (ribonucleoprotein particles present in the cytoplasm). The molecular weight of this protein is 193kDa.
Specificity
Reacts with an internal epitope (aa 506-510, VALGK) of p193.
Immunogen
E. coli lysate transformed with the pET28a(+) expression vector containing amino acids 408-611 of the p193 cDNA.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Minor vault protein 193 is highly expressed in tumors.
Physical form
Supplied in serum-free culture medium containing 0.7% bovine serum albulin and 0.1% sodium azide.
