Adrenergic receptors (ARs) belong to the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily that interacts with epinephrine and norepinephrine. There are nine receptor subtypes which include three α1AR subtypes (α1A/D, α1B, and α1C), three α2ARs (α2A, α2B, and α2C), and three βAR subtypes (β1, β2, and β3). Adrenergic receptors have been implicated in many diseases such as hypertension, glaucoma, cardiac disorders, diabetes, impotence and depression. Rabbit Anti-α1B Adrenergic Receptor antibody specifically recognizes human α1B adrenergic receptor.
Immunogen
synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal domain of human α1B adrenergic receptor. The immunizing peptide has 85% homology with the rat gene and 90% homology with the mouse gene.
Application
Anti-α1B Adrenergic Receptor antibody can be used for immunohistochemistry at 3μg/ml using artery, tunica intima and tunica media tissues.
