Monoclonal antibodies are attractive therapeutic agents because of their impressive biological activities and favorable biophysical properties. Nevertheless, antibodies are susceptible to various types of chemical modifications, and the impact of such modifications on antibody physical stability and aggregation remains understudied.

Active Filters

Cannot get sterile water to flow through.

I used this to filter an antibody and the could not push any volume through the filter. I assumed that I must have a precipitate in my solution. However, I then tried sterile water to make sure the product worked. Absolutely nothing went through without an incredible amount of force. I tried twice with new filters. These say they're for aqueous phase and are hydrophilic, but that is not at all how they're behaving.
