General description

Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PDL-1) is a B7 related protein belonging to the BTN/MOG family. PDL-1 is essential for T-cell proliferation and production of IL10 and IFNG. PDL-1 reduces the secretion of IL-2 and IL-10 from memory T cells by inhibiting cell-mediated immune responses. PDL-1 may be involved in reducing allogenic CD4+ memory T-cell responses to endothelial cells. PDL-1 is highly expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, placenta, and lung and weakly expressed in thymus, spleen, kidney, and liver.

Immunogen

Epitope: extracellular domain
GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to the extracellular domain of human PDL-1/CD274.

Application

Anti-PDL-1/CD274 Antibody, clone 3F2.1 is an antibody against PDL-1/CD274 for use in western blotting & IHC.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:50 and 1:500 dilution from a representative lot detected PDL-1/CD274 in human tonsil and skeletal muscle tissue, respectively.

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in human skeletal muscle tissue.

Western Blotting Analysis: 1 µg/mL of this antibody detected PDL-1/CD274 in 10 µg of human skeletal muscle tissue.

Target description

~40 kDa observed. The calculated molecular weight is 33 kDa; however, this protein may be observed at higher molecular weights to due to heavy glycosylation.
