This product is not tested for solubility. However, the solubility of polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) is very dependent on the degree of hydrolysis. A higher degree of hydrolysis results in a lower solubility rate. This product is considered fully hydrolyzed and may only be dissolved at relatively low concentrations in hot water, after extended stirring times. It should also be mentioned that ‘fully hydrolyzed’ may range from 99 to 100 %.
